ABOUT
ANDREA MELLARE
Born and raised in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region in Italy renowned for its manufacturing of furniture, and hailing from a family of industrialists in the furnishing sector, Andrea Mellare has the world of design and construction in his DNA.
Upon graduating from the Università di Bologna, he embarked on his career in the furniture industry, honing his skills alongside architects, developers, contractors, hoteliers, designers and entrepreneurs, offering functionality, flexibility and style to various projects in Europe, Asia, Africa, Russia, South America and the United States.
Mr. Mellare’s travel exploits and international business experiences have formed his keen understanding of producing furnishing solutions that eloquently express time, setting and culture, carrying conversations between tradition and cutting-edge innovation.
After over 15 years of working for his family enterprise and private companies, Andrea Mellare founded AMA, his own firm, carrying forward the cultural legacy of his family and the industry that carved his passion for expanding life by optimizing space through furniture. Today AMA is sought after by distinct individuals and prominent corporations for its bespoke services, from creating singular products and upgrading spaces, to furnishing new constructions.
